Hylight Electronics (Amplification) was started in 1966 by Dave Reeves. Hylight was the original manufacturer of both Hiwatt and Sound City amplifiers. The new amps are completely hand-wired in London, England using UK-made parts. The only exception is the F&T capacitor on the top of the chassis which is made in Germany. Nothing is from or made in China. They are all based on the original Dave Reeves designs with a little tweaking and updates for the modern player. These amps aren't merely copies of your Grand Dad's old Hiwatt or Sound City.   EVERY amp is FANTASTIC from fit and finish to tone and playability. Built to last a lifetime and then some. This sale is for one brand new Hylight Custom 50 Combo Model VR504C-212F/C. 50w 2x12 combo in RED loaded with two upgraded optional Celestion Blue Alnico speakers. In fact, this is the first one in the US, was displayed at NAMM 2020 and has a special NAMM serial number.

All Hylight Vintage Series amplifiers include LINE OUT and EFFECTS LOOP as standard.
