James Tyler Early1990 Studio Elite Floyd Rose Modified Refinished
This is a "Studio Elite" model from the early 1990s with the first serial number for Japan market.
It has been refinished in Jim Burst and modified to Floyd Rose specs to give it a look and specs similar to the one used by Steve Lukather.
The neck is made of bird's eye maple and has a relatively narrow C shape. It is equipped with the original pearloid guard, quarter-pound pickups (with dummy coil), and booster.
The tuners have been replaced with Schaller, the pots have been replaced with CTS, and there is a trace of wiring modifications (looks like they were reconnected).
There are holes in the studs that were filled in with the Floyd Rose modification, and the pickup and control cavities have also been extended and coated with conductive paint.
The some discoloration is seen on the pick guard, the PU bobbin is rusted, there are numerous large and small dings and scuffs throughout the body, and the head has several dents on the tips and corners.
The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
