Description

A most unusual set of Kluson tuning machines, my best guess being from the very early 1940s, just before WW II though I’ll be happy to be proven otherwise on the dating. Backplate, gear screw and one stanchion on each nickel-plated; button, worm, the other stanchion and the post (7/32” dia.) gold-plated. Backs stamped KLUSON MFG CO CHICAGO ILL PAT 2132792; never seen anything quite like them. Plating on the buttons mostly gone but when you need something like this to restore an older guitar, could never find them. All gears and workings tight. $175
