Description

Feast your eyes on this Knaggs Chena with a beautiful Aged Scotch finish and a natural resonance that shimmers and shines! This one has some extra unique touches, like limited Severn headstock, a rich Brazilian Rosewood board, and Gold hardware that accents the dark figured top perfectly. Having worked for 20 years with the Private Stock department of Paul Reed Smith, Joe Knaggs developed a keen ear for building one-of-a-kind instruments that are unmatched in looks, playability and tone. This guitar is a prime example, with unbelievable sustain and clarity thanks to the hand-picked tonewoods and Seth Lover PAF pickups in a sleek hollowbody design. This is a stunning instrument that effortlessly transitions between creamy, jazzy cleans and a saturated, edgy humbucker growl -- what more could you want? Knaggs guitars are not only visual masterpieces, but they're some of the best playing instruments we've come across! Once you've played one, they're hard to put down...

If you don't know Joe Knaggs, he was head of R & D at PRS for a number of years as well as the head of the Private Stock department. He had his hand in almost every Private Stock ever built and as such, his name and signature is often found on the COAs and headstocks of those amazing guitars. This will be very familiar for any PRS Custom fans out there, and given these are hand built one at a time, the attention to detail is second to none. These guitars maintain all the Vintage tones you need, handle modern gain like you expect and sustain for days thanks to the set neck design.
