~1920 Kona Model 3 Koa
With a thicker body than its cousins the Weissenborn’s, this model 3 has tight braces through-out, a round Spanish style neck, and rope binding adorning the top and fretboard. It shows wear from years of use, and the loss of some of the wood binding as a result of probably living without a case for some of it’s life. Some nice tiger like figuring one the back and top. The bridge varies from the usual shape. I have another Model 1 Kona with the same bridge. Setup with a new set of Weissenborn Slide Guitar Co. “Open D Tuning Light Gauge” strings. Non original case.
