Lakland's 44-64 is a dream combo of a J-Bass and a P-Bass done up nicely with a bound and blocked neck. Upon first inspection it's a regular P, but the neck is slim and fast like a J. Plug it in and you get all the punch and bottom of split P type pickup but you can also can add some cut thanks to the extra J-pickup near the bridge. This is a deadly bass for sure.

There's no denying the quality Lakland delivers at an amazing price with their Skyline Series instruments. The body and neck are made in Indonesia but the basses are fully assembled and set-up in the USA.
