Description

Offered is this incredible 2016 HSL (Hybrid Scott Lentz) from Lentz Guitar. Based on the classic Tele design, the HSL's modified layout and electronics make for a much more flexible guitar, one that can cover almost any kind of music you can throw at it.

This gorgeous instrument offers the following specifications: a light weight, one-piece Ash body finished in two tone sunburst nitro lacquer; a lightly figured Rock Maple neck with a very soft V shape and depth measurements of .880" at the first fret increasing to .990" at the twelfth fret; a stunning Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with 9.5"-12" compound radius, 6105 fret wire and a 1.655" bone nut; a Rutter's vintage style bridge made of 16 gauge stamped cold rolled steel with brass compensated saddles; and for electronics, a Lentz L-90 (alnico 5, 7.12k) in the neck position and a Lentz B'Kaster single coil (alnico 2, 10.0k) in the bridge position with matching pots, paper and oil cap, a three way switch and VVT. This guitar has a total weight of just 6.8 pounds.

This combination of pickups and and a volume control for each pickup makes the HSL an extremely versatile beast. You can get a ton of tones out of this baby! And being a Lentz-built guitar, it plays like liquid silk and you won't want to put her down.

Completed in January, 2016 this beauty looks like it just came out of Scott's shop. It's near flawless cosmetic condition and it's spotless frets indicate that this sweetie has seen little, if any, play time. It comes in it's similarly mint blonde G&G case.

If you were to order this guitar to these specs your cost would be over $4K and a wait of several months. Get this beauty for about a grand less and without the wait. As many of you know, Lentz guitars are among my personal favorites. If you've played a Lentz, you already know why. If you haven't. try one and you will quickly be a fan. Highly recommended!
