Description

If you are seeking the 'ultimate' Telecaster-style guitar, this fabulous instrument may be it. Offered here is a Lentz Reserve T' Style guitar built in 2015 and in immaculate condition.

This fabulous Lentz Reserve T' offers the following specifications: a very light weight, one-piece body made of 25 year old Swamp Ash stock and finished in Fiesta Red nitro lacquer; a neck made of 25 year old flamed Maple with a very soft V to C shape and depth measurements of .950" at the first fret increasing to 1.00" at the twelfth fret; a gorgeous old growth Brazilian Rosewood fretboard with 9.5" radius, 6105 fret wire and a 1.655" bone nut; a Lentz vintage style bridge with brass compensated saddles; and for electronics, a Lentz Alnico 5 single coil in the neck position and a Lentz Alnico 2 in the bridge, with volume, tone, a 3-way switch, matching pots and oil & paper caps. This guitar has a total weight of just 6.6 pounds (6 pounds, 10 ounces).

You know this guitar is exemplary as soon as you pick it up. It is extremely light and perfectly balanced. Tap the one-piece, old wood body and it rings with resonance. The neck is thick but the modest shoulders make for a neck most anyone will find extremely comfortable to play. The superb Lentz pickups have got all the Tele 'bite' you could ask for without being ear-piercing. The playability and the fret work are fabulous.

Completed in November, 2015 this guitar has seen little play and could easily pass for a new instrument. I will call it near mint, but it shows no flaws that I can find and the frets show no observable wear. It comes in it's original blonde G&G case which is also in near mint condition.

Simply put, this is the finest Fender-style T-style instrument I have had the pleasure to play. A new example like this guitar will cost you nearly $7K and a wait of many months. Get this near mint beauty today and for much less. Get yourself a Lentz, you will be very glad you did!
