2010 Marshall Class 5 Model C5 White Tolex

Small, highly portable tube amps like this Marshall Class 5 C5 combo are what everyone is after these days, and the amp is a welcome alternative to Fender's Blues Junior and other such staples you see everywhere.
The Class 5 is a 5 watt Class A amplifier built in the UK. It sports two ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and a single EL84 power amp tube. The speaker is a 10″ 16-ohm Celestion G10F-15. A single channel amplifier, the amp features controls for volume, treble, mid, and bass. A headphone out is included. When engaged, the internal speaker is defeated. The headphone mode also doubles as a low-power setting. If no headphones are plugged in, a low power signal is fed to the internal speaker, suitable for low volume practice. It weighs just shy of 27 lbs.
The amp sounds good and is simple to operate. It doesn't offer a bunch of effects or other features, but what it does it does well. The best way to use the amp is to set your gain and output levels up and use your guitar's volume control to clean up when you want to, getting the output and preamp sections working for you.
The amp is in great shape with some discoloration to the upper left corner of the grille. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
We tested the tubes, cleaned the pots and put the amp through its paces prior to listing.
