2013 Martin 00-21 Custom Shop Near Mint, Hard, $2,895.00

An exceptional example of one of a very few Custom Shop guitars that we had Martin make for us a while back; we are thrilled to have this one return to us in near-mint condition. From the original description on our website: "A reprise of a very happy accident of a few years ago. We had ordered from Martin's Custom Shop some exact remakes of their famous 00-21 guitar, a model that was in production from the early 1870s to the mid- 1980s, and sadly not available since. Some of the examples from the early 70s were among the nicest, and our favorite Martins of all time, and so we asked them to pull out the old spec sheets and duplicate that. Martin guitars with 12-fret necks traditionally have nut widths of 1-7/8", but somehow, these came through with slightly narrower necks, of the Orchestra Model, or OM width of 1-3/4". Bottom line is that we've got a grand concert-size Martin here, built to the sturdiness of some of the best stuff they ever did, and with rosewood back and sides for the very best tonal warmth and clarity, with a neck size and shape of a comfort level rarely seen on any of these.
