2019 Martin 000-15SM Natural Lefty with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: The 15 Series 000-15SM Mahogany Auditorium Acoustic Guitar improves on a previous model known as the 000-15S. The 15 Series 000-15SM shares the same all-mahogany body with slotted headstock as its predecessor but now comes with a morado fingerboard and bridge, real rosette, improved abalone fretboard inlays, and nickel tuners with butterbean nobs. This small-bodied guitar harkens back to an earlier time before the invasion of the dreadnought. It features a 12-fret body design that offers up plenty of woody tone and volume, in spite of its compact size. This is a great guitar for fingerpickers or anyone looking to acquire an instant classic. This Martin is lightly used but it ships with the original hardshell case & it was recently restrung & set up by our in-house luthier.

Body: Mahogany top, back & sides on a 000 sized body.

Neck: Mahogany neck with a ‘morado’ fingerboard and bridge, 25.5” scale length, 1.75” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: No electronics, original tuning keys, abalone fingerboard inlays, wooden bridge pins and end pin.

Cosmetics: This Martin was a one-owner guitar & it was well cared for over the past year. The pickguard has some scratches but otherwise I couldn’t find any imperfections on the body.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
