This New-old-stock Custom Shop beauty features an Adirondack spruce top over gorgeous solid Cocobolo back and sides and ambertone sunburst top. Additional features include a solid peg head (rather than the slotted peg head that is generally associated with Martin's 12 fret models), gold Grover tuners, ivoroid binding with black/white purflings against the sides (style 28 purflings against the top) and 20s/30s style multi-colored 'rope' type wood purfling as the center ring of the rosette. The headstock veneer is Cocobolo and the back of the headstock is impressed with the "CF Martin & Co" stamp as was done prior to 1935. The pick guard is tortoise pattern, beveled and polished. The top bracing is scalloped, 5/16" gauge. The finish is a semi-gloss/satin lacquer on the back, sides and neck with full gloss on the top. The nut width is 1 3/4" and pin spacing is 2 3/16". Perfect set up with plenty of saddle to allow for adjustability if desired. There are two very minor marks in the finish from handling of the guitar in the shop, one on the neck (about 1/16") and one on the top (about 1 1/2"), both are so minor that I can't photograph them well enough to get them to show up on pics for the listing. I generally ship by UPS and will ship an item within 48 hours (usually the next day) of having received or cleared payment. Exact shipping costs will be added to the total for the buyer once the buyer has provided a shipping address. I insure everything for fulll purchase price.
Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
