Description

Just in- yet another pre war D-18, this time a 1941. MY one personal guitar for over three years was a 41 D-18. As I always say about these guitars, Steve Earle said of all the hundreds of guitars he has owned, a pre war D-18 would be his own guitar to take to a deserted island for the rest of his life. Very few things in life live up to the hype he said and pre war D-18s are one of them. This one has a completely untouched original finish, no cracks in the Adirondack top, and original scalloped bracing. Original pickguard, tuners, bridge, bridge plate, etc. No heel crack and no head stock crack! There are a couple of expertly repaired side cracks with none in the back. This guitar has been set up perfectly by a luthier with nothing needed except a new owner. Original case is included. The tone goes on for days with this one and the mojo drips from it by appearance alone. 16,000 dollars.
