SALE PRICE- 13,000 dollars. Here is yet another pre war D-18- my favorite guitar model- a 1941 model no less. 41 is my favorite guitar model as evidenced by Dying Breed Music having four different 41 D-18s for sale right now. My personal guitar for three years was a 41 D-18. This one is housed in it's original case and has completely original finish, pickguard, and tuners. I've found no cracks in the top but a luthier just repaired a couple of back cracks and side crack. This one sounds absolutely outstanding. In the opinion of a good dealer friend this guitar sounds better than my old personal 41. The bridge is a replacement...made and installed by John Arnold. The fretboard was also just professionally replaced by a luthier. The Adirondack top is the most important sound component in my estimation. This instrument has fine Adirondack spruce over hand scalloped braces. The guitar truly sings and is more than enough for any player if playing on stage, studio, songwriting session, jam session, or living room. It is set up perfectly and needs nothing. 13,000 dollars.
