Description

It is no secret that D-18s from 1940-1944 are my very favorite guitar models. Adirondack top, scalloped bracing, hide glue, old growth mahogany. All those pre war features are present on this light weight treasure! Handmade in Nazareth, Pennsylvania 75 years ago, this one is in fantastic condition and is housed in it's ORIGINAL CASE. No top cracks, no head stock crack, no heel crack, no back cracks, no pickup ever installed. Original bridge and bridge plate on this instrument, which is becoming more and more rare. A luthier performed a superb neck set. Original tuners were reinstalled on this guitar also by our luthier. Original pickguard! Completely original finish! There are a couple well repaired side cracks. Don't miss out on this one. Pre war era Martin dreadnoughts are truly the Stradivarius of the guitar world!! 14,700 dollars. When this guitar gets to your hands it will be coming straight from an expert luthier's hands! The set, intonation, neck angle, tuner functionality, action, etc is PERFECT.
