TONE MONSTER, PRICE DROP. 7150 dollars. Adi top, tapered braced, equals the biggest sound of any guitar in stock. Here is a fantastic example of a war time Martin dreadnought. It has Adirondack top, tapered braces, and hide glue. It is mostly original including the bridge plate. The bridge is possibly a replacement but the bridge plate is original and intact. No refinish is present, though very old overspray likely is. No cracks in the back. A couple of expertly repaired top cracks are present. The action on this one is perfect. Action at the 12 fret is under 4/32" with plenty of room on the saddle. "Banjo Killer". 7200 dollars. Priced as a player, not a collector's item. D-18s are my absolute favorite guitar model. Particularly those from 1940-1946. Yes I'm aware that this guitar is not perfect, pristine, mint, or all original. If it were it would be 15000 dollars. If looking for mint condition please look elsewhere. If you're looking for a war house war time D-18 with fabulous tone and perfect playability, call or email us. This one is ready for whatever you can dish out!
