1954 Martin D-28

Here's a classic with a story. Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. Re-topped by Martin in 1988,with a D-45 grade spruce top. According to the work order (which we have) it had been back to the factory twice before to repair loose braces. Apparently by the third trip back to Martin, they felt the need to replace the top. They also refinished the sides at that time. So now that "new" top has had 33 years to age. Sounds great. Comes in a plastic Martin case. The original case is pretty beat, but can be included if we're able to retrieve it from the owner
