Description

Summary: Introduced in 1969 as the slightly less flashy brother to Martin’s flagship D45 dreadnought, the D41 strikes a perfect balance between looks and utility, with all the rich tone of a classic rosewood-bodied Martin. Here is your chance to own an outstanding and incredibly clean contemporary take on this iconic instrument.

Body: Dreadnought body size. Solid Spruce top. X scalloped bracing. Solid Rosewood back and sides. Gloss finish. Abalone rosette. Abalone trim on top. White binding on top and back.

Neck: Mahogany. Satin finish. Diamond volute. Bound headstock with Rosewood veneer and Abalone inlaid block-style CF Martin logo. Bound Ebony fingerboard with Abalone hexagon inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Gold Martin-branded tuners. Beveled tortoiseshell pickguard. Ebony belly bridge. Bone nut and saddle.

Cosmetics: This guitar has been sparingly played and kept maintained in its case. As a result, the finish still shines like new, with no dings, scratches or cracks. Frets are full and show no signs of wear. Tuners and inlays are bright and shiny.

Playability: Play is extremely smooth with no neck or fretting issues. Tone is what you expect from a big body Martin: full and commanding, excelling at driving rhythm, while the wider-feeling fretboard provides ample room for single line runs that ring out from the ebony board.

Weight: 4 lbs, 8 oz.

Case: Original hard shell case.
