Nice one-owner D2R that is nearly 30 years old...hard to imagine as I can recall when this model first came on the market! Solid Indian rosewood back and sides, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck with M & T joint, striped ebony fret board and bridge and basically a style 28 binding/rosette and finger board dot package. The guitar has been well maintained, it shows some minor signs of play and handling and minor fret wear in the first position. There is one well-repaired hairline top crack and a small ding to the binding at the treble shoulder (see photos). The neck is straight under tension and the top is flat. The nut width is 1 11/16" and the pin spacing 2 1/8". The action is set for flat picking at 7/64" and 6/64" (the low and high Es at the 12th fret) with plenty of saddle height left and the neck exhibiting relief of .005". Plays easily all over the neck with good intonation, sounds very good (sound file posted). Original hard shell case is included. I generally ship by UPS and will ship an item within 48 hours (usually the next day) of having received or cleared payment. Exact shipping costs will be added to the total for the buyer once the buyer has provided a shipping address. I insure everything for fulll purchase price.
Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
