Description

Very nice new-old-stock HD-28V from the inventory of the now closed Vintage Fret Shop of Ashland, NH...2016 was the 100th anniversary year of the introduction of the dreadought guitar, and in that year Martin stamped the neck blocks of D sized guitars with the word "Centennial" to commemorate the event. There is nothing different about the HD-28V in this year that sets it apart from HD-28Vs in other years however, the specs are the same...Indian rosewood back and sides, Sitka spruce top, ebony fret board and bridge, forward shifted/scalloped traditional X pattern top bracing. The nut width is 1 11/16" and the pin spacing is 2 1/8." The guitar is set up perfectly, plays great for fingerstyle or flat picking with plenty of saddle height to adjust the action downward if desired. It has the big voice you expect from an HD-28 and is in full throat when flat picked. Comes with 5-ply dome-lid hard case. Please note that the shipping rate is set to get the guitar from the east coast (where I am) to the west coast. If your actual shipping is significantly less I will refund the difference. Better yet, send me your address for a shipping quote so you don't overpay.
