2013 Martin OM-35 Custom Shop
This Custom Shop OM-35 was part of a run of OM-35s built for Jon Garon of My Favorite Guitars in Florida (now retired). With the exception of an added Fishman under saddle pickup the guitar is original. The guitar has the typical specs one might expect for an OM-35 such as Indian rosewood, Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, 1 3/4" nut and 2 1/4" pin spacing. The Sitka top is tight grained and very well quarter sawn, very nice quality. The guitar shows some surface nicks and dings in the finish from handling and play but nothing into the wood, a few minor capo marks in the finish on the back of the neck but overall condition cosmetically is very good. Structurally the guitar is excellent, it shows no evidence of past repairs and a thorough inspection reveals that it is solid and needs nothing currently. The neck is straight under tension and the top flat. The action is currently set at 7/64" at the low E and just a hair above 5/64" at the high E, the guitar plays with no buzz or fret issues and the intonation is good all over the neck. The neck is Martin's "low profile" shape, quite comfortable. Plenty of saddle protrudes above the bridge to allow for lowering the action if desired. The guitar projects very well and is well balanced across the range. Responds well to both the flat pick and finger style with light to medium attack. Comes with the original hardshell case. $2500

I generally ship by UPS and will ship an item within 48 hours (usually the next day) of having received or cleared payment. Exact shipping costs will be added to the total for the buyer once the buyer has provided a shipping address. I insure everything for fulll purchase price.
Items are sold with a 48 hour approval period unless clearly marked "AS IS" in the listing. AS IS items are not returnable. If an item is going to be returned it is at the buyer's expense and the item must be shipped within 24 hours of the buyer notifying Kovacik Guitars of intent to return. Any returned items must be shipped in the original packaging and MUST be fully insured when returned. Once an item is returned to Kovacik Guitars and judged to be in the same condition as when originally sold a full refund will be issued.
