Description

This is NOT a guitar you will come across at all, let alone one that's available, every day. It is one of Michi Matsuda’s finest, one of
his first ten, Serial Number 9, made in 2002, and it is just about perfect. We ordered it from Michi back then, waited for what seemed like an eternity, finally got it, and it sold quickly, of course. Some years later it came back to us in virtually unplayed condition and I put it away for personal reasons, it sounds that good, with typical Matsuda fullness and extreme clarity of tone. It is now time for us to find it a new, very appreciative home. It's of the body style that Michi calls OM, with a cutaway. The nut width is 1-13/16”; the scale length is 25-1/4”; fret wear is essentially zero. Indian rosewood back and sides, the top is extremely fine, even-grained Sitka spruce with an abalone shell rosette, ebony fingerboard and rosewood bridge with relief carving on its ends. There is not a flaw anywhere, of any sort; this guitar is 98%. With a current waiting time of several years from Michi, this a rarest of opportunities to get one of these stellar instruments now. $9995 w/ohsc.
