1957 McKinney Lap Steel Excellent, GigBag, $695.00

Yet again, those fabulous Valco Twins, Chicago in the 1950s all over again. Every one of their lap steels, under various brand names, that has the famous "3+3" pickup sounds just terrific, but this one in particular is extra, extra LOUD, I have no idea why. Old shriveled Klusons long since departed, replaced with extremely smooth, functional Asian somethings from the 70s and we're more than fine with that. Also has the cool, old-time threaded Amphenol connector on its original cloth-covered cable, works perfectly. Bone nut, everything else, set up to run, fast. $695 w/bag
