Description

SN: A3649. Rare and wonderful sounding true 14-fret National Style O restored to its original elegance. Solid head stock with inlaid MOTC logo, bound fret-board, two-tone neck, original Mickey Mouse ear tuners. Chicken foot cover plate, repro pick-guard from National, original cone, and repro bridge. Brand new neck reset, dressed frets, and setup for finger style. It has the “number 7” scene on the back with seven stars and the canoe off to the east. Fulsome neck with a nut measuring just over 1 ¾”. The setup is perfect and it sounds amazing. Excellent condition with just a couple small dents on the back and with age tarnishing under the pick guard. The case is the original ultra-rare hard-shell with banana yellow interior. This looks to be the same model and year played by Mark Knoffler and featured on the cover of Brothers in Arms.
