Summary: Nik Huber Orca brings a new twist to the traditional form with a slightly thinner body and a longer scale. The classic combination of tonewoods and traditional method of construction make this guitar spring to life out of the fascinating merger between vintage values and modern-day quality. This particularly special Orca, made of coveted Korina wood and featuring deluxe inlays, comes in a high-end, heavy-duty Calton case, providing extra value and protection for your investment.

Body: Flamed maple carved top. Maple top binding. Korina body. Light burst finish.

Neck: Korina. Compound radius with carved heel. Rosewood fretboard with orca inlays of black pearl and mother of pearl. Ebony headstock overlay. Polished bone nut. 25” scale length. 1.67” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Two H. Haussel humbuckers. Two volume and two tone controls, with push-pull coil tap. Three-way pickup selector switch. Tone Pros AVR-2 bridge & aluminum tailpiece. Schaller mini M6 tuners with ebony buttons.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with little wear. There is a small notch on the first fret of the board; otherwise, this is a very clean instrument. The figuring of the deeply carved maple top is particularly fine, and the maple binding and ornate inlays create a classy look. This guitar is one part rock machine and one part work of art.

Playability: This guitar plays exceptionally well with low action and no buzz or dead spots. The compound radius neck is comfortable in all positions, providing heft without getting in the way, and the unique heel carve provides easy, comfortable access to the high frets. The korina neck and body give the guitar a special look, a lighter weight, and brighter, more responsive tonality than traditional mahogany. The two humbuckers yield classic tones while the coil taps provides added versatility.

Weight: 8 lbs, 3oz.

Case: Calton hard shell (with Westwood Music label plate).
