Rare early-1960s Oahu/Valco amplifier with a circuit that is nearly identical to the famous Supro 1624T. This 15-watt amp features tube rectification and tremolo, point-to-point wiring, and original pots, transformers, and tubes. Like many Valco amps from this period, it features twin 6973 output tubes - the key to the pleasant overdrive familiar to fans of Jimmy Page or Hubert Sumlin. Over the years the handle has broken, and the original 6" x 11" speakers have been replaced with period-correct 6" x 9" speakers. Everything else in this amp is original, unmodified, and fully functional. The treble pots crackle slightly and it has the original filter capacitors and two-prong plug, but plays loud and strong as-is.
