~1940 Oahu Tonemaster Lap Steel
1940s Oahu Tonemaster Lap Steel in excellent condition. Square neck through, ebony fingerboard, classy checkerboard binding, and a sweet looking tortoise headstock veneer. This lap steel is equipped with Kluson Deluxe tuners which are also in great condition and work perfectly. Electronics are all original and have not been tampered with. Single coil pickup sounds fantastic. There are actual frets on this lap steel that are short and are original to the instrument. Cosmetically there is some regular playwear as seen in photos, with some fretboard numeral markings made by a previous owner. A great Oahu lap steel with some history. Comes with the original hard shell case.
