Description

Summary: This is a 2012 Paul Reed Smith P22 with the original hardshell case. This instrument has a figured maple top (according to Paul Reed Smith) with a black finish, awesome natural maple binding, mahogany neck with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard, and P22 pickups.

Body: Mahogany solid body electric guitar with a figured maple cap

Neck: Mahogany neck with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard, beautiful “Birds” inlays & 22 frets. This neck has a regular carve, 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: PRS/LR Baggs wraparound bridge/tailpiece, chrome & gold hardware, locking PRS Phase III tuning keys, Birds inlays. The electronics include a pair of PRS 53/10 humbuckers mated to a five-way blade selector, master Volume and Tone controls for the magnetic pickups along with a master Volume for the piezo, and a three-way mini toggle to combine (or switch between) the two systems.

Cosmetics: This instrument does show lots of play wear with scratches on the top & buckle rash on the back, several dings & nicks on the guitar including one ding on the treble side horn of the guitar near the binding. All wear & tear is consistent with a loved & well-played guitar and there is no structural damage on this beautiful instrument.

Playability: Like most PRS guitars this baby plays great! The action is low & the instrument has been set up with 10’s.

Modifications: N/A

Weight: 7 lbs, 9 oz.

Case: Original hard shell case
