This guitar speaker cabinet is perhaps one of Peavey's best ideas in years and years.
The Vintage 30 speaker resides in a cabinet of reasonable size and weight, and the cab can be operated as a sealed or open-back cab.
You definitely get different character from each option, and you'll find that different settings benefit from one or the other. Fir instance, playing in a small practice space, church or a small-ish club might work best with the back open, allowing the cab to fill the space. Larger shows or outdoor events that require some throw might be best approached with the cab sealed.
