This 2001 PRS Custom 22 Artist I've come across in quite some time.

My old music shop had just become a PRS dealer when this was built, and I remember how I hoped that the quilt tops I ordered would look like this when I unboxed them!

I also remember the upcharges for the Artist package and gold hardware, which are definitely worth the expense as they push this particular guitar over the edge.

The original owner bought this guitar new and stashed it.  There is little to no evidence that it has been played, which isn't surprising when you consider that it was part of a collection of over 200 guitars.

It is a fantastic example that plays perfectly with a nice weight of 8 pounds 5 ounces and Dragon II pickups.
There are no changes or repairs, and the truss rod has room for future adjustments, if needed.

The original case includes all the paperwork that came with the guitar as well as the original Guitar Center price tag.
