The DGT model is the result of years of collaboration between Paul Smith and David Grissom. Based around the McCarty model, this guitar features a unique and extremely comfortable neck profile, taller frets, specially designed pickups, and a revised control layout. PRS spent over a year comparing more than 40 sets of pickups before deciding on the perfect vintage-voice for the DGT humbuckers. Paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone knob that operates the coil taps, the DGT pickups provide maximum versatility and articulation.
