1999 PRS McCarty Hollowbody I Violin Amber

Up for sale is a 1999 PRS McCarty Hollowbody I in its original Violin Amber Sunburst finish. In the world of semi hollow instruments this model PRS has always stuck out as one of my favorites. The carved top and back have a really killer ring to them. Both of the original PRS Archtop pickups are present in this guitar. Cosmetically there are some dings and dents around the instrument. Notably I see one between the two pickups on the treble side that looks like it may have been pick wear. There are also some small dings on the back of the body which look like they may have been from a shirt button. There is another one on the treble side of the guitar that goes through the finish and slightly into the wood. The headstock does has a bit of a ding as well on the treble side horn. There is a little bit of fret wear as well but nothing which hinders playability. All of the cosmetic things seem to melt away when you start to play this one. The top also has a really interesting grain pattern. If you are looking for a semi hollow electric guitar this should absolutely be in consideration as a candidate!
This one is pro Setup in house and compete with its original hardshell case and bird shaped hang tag.

If a return is requested because the buyer simply doesn’t like the way an instrument plays, sounds or other personal preferences we reserve the right to deduct a 10% restocking fee at our sole discretion. In the event of any return the buyer pays all shipping and insurance costs, both to and from, as well as any other fees associated with the transaction. In the event a return is requested on an item prior to shipment or delivery a 10% restocking fee will be deducted at our sole discretion. All returns must be approved by phone or email and must be returned in the exact condition they left our store.
