2011 PRS SC-58 McCarty Sunburst

This 2011 PRS SC-58 wowed us right away with its tone. They really hit it with this model!
The 57/08 pickups have to be an important part of the equation. They are sweeter and more classic sounding than anything else I've heard from PRS. The only other guitar they make that I recall grabbing me like this one is the David Grissom model, which also has pickups that stand apart from other PRS designs.
PRS also worked on the bridge setup for this guitar to bring the classic LP tone. The look is definitely PRS infused, and the result is excellent.
The neck is full but not overly fat like an R9. It is very, very comfortable to play and the fret work is excellent. The frets show light wear and the truss rod was checked to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustment.
The Artist Package adds the sweet, highly flamed top, the rosewood headstock overlay, elaborate bird fretboard inlays and the rad case.
The guitar weighs in at just a hair over 8 pounds, making it a gigging machine.
There is some wear, mostly on the back edges. See the pictures for detail.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
