Rickenbacker 1980s 450

This is a "450" model that has been modified by replacing the entire assembly.

The tailpiece plate with the serial number has been replaced, so the year of manufacture cannot be determined with certainty, but the Shallar pegs and the shape of the truss rod cover suggest that this guitar was made around 1984.

All assemblies including the pickguard have been replaced, and the pickups are high-gain pickups, CTS'96 pots, Sprague capacitors, etc. The bridge has been replaced with a 12-string version.

The bridge has been replaced with a 12-string version, the tailpiece has been replaced (the serial number is stamped, but the usual Rickenbacker strike is different), and a locking type strap pin has been installed.

There are several tiny dents and scuffs to the body top, many scuffs and several tiny dents to the body back, many scratches to the body sides, mseveral pockmarks to the back of the neck, and scraches to the head.

There are some slightly dented areas scattered around the plain strings, but overall there is about 70% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
