1987 Rickenbacker 350 White, Good, $1,649.00

Summary: This is a very cool 1987 Rickenbacker 350 with a wonderful aged white finish. This instrument does show some wear & tear and lots of checking from years of being played & loved. The original white white finish has yellowed a bit with age as is common with these guitars. We spoke with Rickenbacker about this instrument & they told us that this guitar was made in September of 1987 in White with Black Trim (all standard production features from 1987).

Body: Semi-hollow electric guitar with a maple body & a cool vintage white finish.

Neck: This instrument has maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and 24 frets – the frets are in great shape and have lots of life left in them. This guitar has dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: This instrument has 3 high-gain pickups and black hardware.

Cosmetics: This baby shows wear & tear consistent with an instrument from the 1980’s that has been well-played & loved. This guitar has some checking that has developed in several places including the top, back & around the headstock. The headstock shows lots of wear around the top and it does have a few places where the finish is worn away. The back of the guitar does show some belt buckle rash & a few dings & scratches, but the instrument is structurally sound & it plays and sounds awesome. There are a few dings & nicks on the back of the neck but the guitar still plays smoothly & the wear doesn’t affect the playability.

Playability: This guitar plays very easily with low action & no buzzing or dead spots. We had this instrument set up with 10’s by our in-house luthier & it is ready to play.

Case: No case, however, we will ship this instrument with a gig bag.
