1989 Rickenbacker 350SH Susanna Hoffs Black/Jetglo

It's hard to believe that these Ricky's came out 31 years ago and they are as cool today as they were on day one. How many 80's things can you say that about? Betamax? Rubik's Cube? I think not. They made 250 of these guitars and what sets it apart from the similar Lennon models are the pickups and the very attractive checkerboard binding. There is a humbucker in the bridge and two of the hottest single coils this side of a Mosrite. Around 12K each. It plays like a Ricky but it doesn't have to sound like one. This, ironically, is a guitar with some serious cojones. Condition is 9+. I could probably get away with near mint but I'll let you decide what to call it beyond excellent. It has one issue of note: the pickguard was replaced with a plain white one by the previous owner and he lost the original. I had a repro made for it. There are fakes out there but this one was documented by the nice folks at Rickenbacker as number 98 of 250. Documentation is included.
