Summary: Few sounds are more evocative of the classic period of popular rock than the electric jangle of the Rickenbacker 12-string. This 660/12 is engineered to the exacting standards of Rickenbacker’s vintage reissue series, and features a gorgeous burst finish.

Body: Solid charactered maple with checkered binding. Double cutaway with body contour. Burst finish.

Neck: Solid maple through-body neck. 24 3/4'' scale. 1 3/4'' nut width. Lacquered rosewood fretboard with triangle inlays. Half-slot style headstock. Large gold truss rod cover with “Rickenbacker” logo.

Pickups/Hardware: Two vintage reissue “toaster” pickups. Adjustable bridge with individual string saddles, cover and trapeze tailpiece. Gotoh vintage style tuners marked “Ric Deluxe.” Three-way pickup selector. Two volume and two tone controls, plus one pickup volume equalization control. Two-tiered gold pickguard/control plate.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. The finish has some small dings and light pick-hazing consistent with regular use. There is a pea-sized spot of missing finish on the back of the neck. The burst finish with the gold guard makes for a very classy look.

Playability: The action is low and the frets are in great shape, making for an easy-playing 12-string. The tone from the toaster style pickups is classic Ric: bright, jangly and articulate.
