1920 S.S. Stewart 115 0-45 Sized Natural Brazilian Rosewood
“O” Sized in Martin Guitar terms sized guitar, brilliant old Brazilian rosewood of the highest quality. Perfect for an X brace conversion. Ladder braced. This is not a parlor sized guitar. This is an O sized guitar. With its outline traced on paper, it is slightly larger than an 0-45.
A rare S.S. Stewart for which I can find very little information. The Brazilian Rosewood on this equals that on my ’27 Martin 0-45 in quality: it is beautiful.
The sound box & cedar neck are crack free. The fretboard has one long crack down the center. The top is dirty at the tail end, especially at the purfling.
Needs a complete workover, but most will want to convert it to X bracing. Nut width : 1 ¾ inch.
Scale length is slightly longer than a 1927 0-45. Will ship boxed and well packed in a used case.
