Silvertone 600E Vintage Sunburst with Empire Guitars Gig Bag

This Silvertone acoustic is a recreation of the 1956 Silvertone model 600 but with some modern upgrades. It has a Fishman Clearwave 60 preamp and pickup, built in tuner, adjustable truss rod, spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The mahogany neck has a nice C shaped profile, bound rosewood fingerboard and mother-of-pearl dots.

This guitar is in fine used condition but shows some pick scratches on the top and some light scratching on the body from normal use. There is a 4" crack in the finish running parallel to the fingerboard extension that is noticeable but not structural. It appears that the wood grain has just settles in a way that had cracked the finish along the grain line. The guitar was built with a wood block under the top and fingerboard extension that provides plenty of strength in that region.

Our in house luthier has just setup and restrung this Silvertone with a new set of 12s and low action. The neck is straight and it plays wonderfully up and down the fingerboard. It ships in one of our Empire Guitars branded Levy's gigbags. We will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
