Silvertone Silhouette 1478 Redburst, Brand New
There's no doubt that Harmony/Silvertone borrowed a little from Fender's Jaguar and Jazzmaster when creating the 1478 Silhouette. Not only does it have a similar off-set body shape but it comes with a very surfy vibrato that is perfect for adding color when you need it. The pickups are also Fender-y, but a much more raunchy variety. These silver-foils are the archetypal garage-rock pickup. This one is in all around great shape. There's the wear in the paint on the bottom edge but this one avoids all the pit-falls you frequently see on most of them. The pickguard is flat and is not cracked at all, the pots work find and the mini-knobs haven't been lost to time either. Frets are in nice shape too so it's ready for years of service. 24" scale length, chunky C shaped neck profile. 7.2 lbs.
