Description

Beautiful Brazilian Rosewood back and sides that rivals the best Martin 0-45 from the 1920’s, and a body that measures almost exactly the same as a 1930's L-00. This is a perfect example for an L-00 conversion, or a fine guitar on it's own worthy of restoration.

Brazilian Rosewood has straight grain with the rich chocolate color, great for an x braced conversion, a new build, or restoration. Brazilian Rosewood of this quality is not available in today’s world, making this a real gem.

Full sized, 25” scale, 14” width, 19” body length, 3 ¾” body depth puts this at a hair smaller than a Gibson L-00- it is NOT a parlor guitar. 2 lbs 9.7 oz put it in the featherweight category. 1.799” at the nut.

V sized neck feels full in the hand. Needs a neck reset, and sounds great even in its’ current condition.

Not Martin made, but no indication of who manufactured this beauty for SS Stewart. “Stand” ink stamped on the neck block. Contact me for an in-hand description.

Needs a full age related restoration, not unusual for an acoustic guitar of this age. Non original hard case. $2,499 Bank wire transfer price, $2,599 Paypal Price.
