2020 Suhr Alt T Select Maple Top Trem Tea Burst
Offered is drop dead gorgeous Alt T Select from Suhr. This is a custom version of their Alt T that was built for a single "select" Suhr dealer, Humbucker Music of Nashville. If you are a fan of Thinline Tele-style instruments (who isn't!?), then this guitar is well worth a look.
This Alt T Select has a chambered Alder body and a nicely flamed Maple top. It has a "roasted" (torrefied) Maple neck which gives it the look of Mahogany and a lovely, non-tacky feel. The neck has Suhr's '60's C Vintage Medium' neck shape and depth measurement of .830" - .950" a carve that feels great. It has a Rosewood fretboard with a 9"-12" compound radius, medium stainless steel frets, a 1.650" Tusq nut and clay dot inlays. The Alt T Select gets a Gotoh tremolo bridge with drop in arm rather than the hardtail on the Alt T. The electronics include two Thornbucker pickups with master volume, master tone and a five-way pickup selector. It has locking tuners that are made for Suhr and make string changes a breeze.
What a great guitar! This is a Tele with "attitude" and lots of additional flexibility. The humbucking pickups can do things an normal Tele cannot and the five-way gives you access to single coil voicing in positions 2 and 4 for the best of both worlds. The semi-hollow construction adds a bit of woodiness and lets you get those 335-like tones and the tremolo adds even more versatility not normally associated with a T-style instrument. This gorgeous guitar is mint condition and could pass for new. The marvelous stainless steel frets are spotless too. While these typically come in a Suhr gig bag, this example comes in a mint condition Suhr/G&G hardshell case (a $200 upgrade) along with the spec sheet, fretboard protector and tools.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
