I remember as a child watching WCW wrestling on Channel 17 in Atlanta with my brother and we would sit in front of that 19" TV, waiting for the one and only man himself, Ric Flair to appear. He would come out in a three-piece suit, white hair, and a big, shiny watch, to which my Pop would always say, "That's a Rolex, Doodlebug." Man, I can still remember as if it was yesterday all the rhymes and rapping Ric would spit out. Jet flyin', wheelin' dealin', kiss stealin'- us kids strutted around our living room like we were two pint-sized Nature Boys on red Kool-Aid. Those. Were. The. Days.

Why Ric Flair when asked to describe this Suhr S3? Well, I'll tell ya- when it comes to high-quality, well-built, SSH-configured guitars, this is absolutely the top of Space Mountain. You see and feel it from the moment you pick it up and I will say with all certainty that these three Suhr pickups are the most lethal-sounding in the entire shop. Hands, down, no question about it. They simply kill.

Incredible tone aside, the build quality is peerless and it is seriously impressed upon me that John Suhr's legacy (no pun intended) is immersed into every guitar he produced. Simply put, I've never picked up a bad Suhr. Never, and that says a lot when you consider the sheer number of guitar makers currently assembly-lining instruments onto the market today. I guess we could say that Mr. Suhr is the modern-day Nature Boy of the guitar world!

This one's in exceptionally clean condition. I found three pintip dings on the face and a couple of angel hair surface scratches on the back. The guitar has been detailed, restrung and set up by our grandmaster tech, "El Hefe," so it will arrive ready to tear the face off of your lead singer when he starts his Axl Rose schtick during your solo. There, that'll teach him...

As always, we thank you for stopping by and please call, email or PM with any questions!
