2014 Suhr Standard Arch Top, Even C Med Neck, Ebony FB, Stainless Steel Frets, 7.2 pounds
Offered here is one of the of the most elegant guitar designs made, a Suhr Standard Arch Top. This spectacular Suhr guitar was built in 2014 and remains in virtually mint and unplayed condition.
This magnificent guitar has a semi-hollow Mahogany body with an incredible one-piece 3/4" thick quilt Maple top, an F hole, comfort contours, a natural gloss finish and a total guitar weight of just 7 pounds, 3 ounces. The neck is Mahogany and has an Even C Medium shape which I measure at .855" at the first fret and .935" at the twelfth. The neck is finished in a smooth, non-tacky satin finish with no tint added. The fretboard is black Ebony with a 10"-14" compound radius, rolled edges, Abalone dot markers, jumbo stainless steel frets and a 1.650" tusq nut. The headstock has a 3/32" thick quilt Maple overlay with an Abalone Suhr logo inlay and gold locking tuners. The body, neck and headstock are bound in white ivoroid. The bridge is a gold Gotoh 510 trem model. The electronics include a SSV humbucker in the neck position an, SSH Plus humbucker in the bridge position, volume, tone and a five-way slider switch. All hardware has a gold finish.
I've had several of these over the years and this model always impresses me. Besides being incredibly beautiful and well built, it is light, nearly plays itself and offers a wide variety of tonal options. The humbuckers give you Gibson-like tones when needed and the five-way gives you those in-between quack tones of a Strat. Please check out the brief sound sample provided.
While built in 2014, this guitar remains in virtually unplayed condition. I'm calling the condition near mint but I cannot find any flaws of any significance and the stainless steel frets show no wear at all. It comes in it's original G&G hardshell case along with the gold trem arm, the tools, spec sheet and fretboard protector.
This Suhr Arch Top is a playable piece of art and a sonic masterpiece at that. A new example would cost you $6K, but this as new example can be had for far less. Make this gorgeous instrument yours today!

Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
