Description

If a 'super-Strat' style guitar is what you are looking for, the instrument offered here certainly qualifies. For your consideration is this fabulous Suhr Standard buit in 2012 and in near mint condition.

This custom instrument was ordered with a Basswood body and a killer 3/16" quilted Maple top finished in Bengal Burst. It has a very straight-grained Maple neck with Suhr's 'Even C Medium' neck shape and depth measurements of .840" at the first fret increasing to .920" at the twelfth fret. It has a Rosewood fingerboard with a 10"-14" compound radius, jumbo stainless steel frets, a 1.650" tusq nut and Abalone inlays. It has a steel block tremolo bridge and Hipshot locking tuners. The electronics include two Suhr SSV humbuckers with volume and tone controls and a five-way switch. The headstock face has a fancy Abalone Suhr logo inlay with a gloss finish. This incredible guitar has a total weight of 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

This guitar is precision made and plays with incredible ease. A factory Plek job doesn't hurt! The fabulous stainless steel frets should be mandatory on all electric guitars IMHO. The electronics give you a nice mix of humbucking and single coil tones, as evidenced by the included 'Soundcloud' sample. This guitar can do just about anything you need it to do.

Built in 2012 this beautiful instrument remains in near mint condition with no flaws of any significance. The stainless steel frets are and will remain flawless for years to come. It comes in it's original G&G hard case (shows a few scuffs) along with the trem are, tools and spec sheet.

This is a one-off, high-end electric with the looks, feel, playability and tone that demanding players typically look for. It is used but in near mint condition. Make it yours and you will be very glad that you did. Very nice indeed!
