Summary: The Taylor 455 12-string Jumbo acoustic guitar has ovangkol back and sides that add some shimmer and warmth to your sound, along with an old reliable: the sitka spruce top. Thanks to its large but comfortable body, the 455 can really project and serve up some serious tone, along with the typical jangly quality of a 12-string.

Body: Jumbo acoustic with a solid spruce top & ovangkol back & sides – this guitar has 4-ply White/Black/White/Black binding on the top & the back.

Neck: Mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, 20 frets, dot inlays. The frets on this Taylor are in great shape & have a ton of life left in them. This guitar features a tusq nut & saddle. The nut width is 1 7/8” and the scale length is 25.5”.

Pickups/Hardware: Chrome Taylor tuning keys, no electronics, ebony bridge with ebony bridge pins, Indian rosewood headstock overlay, wood fiber soundhole rosette.

Cosmetics: This is a great looking jumbo Taylor 12-string. This instrument looks like it has barely been played – I looked up & down, held this baby in the light, searched over and over to find something that I could report but…..I couldn’t even find a single scratch. The pickguard doesn’t even have any scratches! There is one small blemish on the side of the fingerboard right next to the 20th fret on the top but it is very minor.

Playability: This guitar plays and sounds great – we just put new strings on it & we had our in-house luthier adjust the neck & give it a full setup so it is ready to be played and loved.
