Description

Offered is this gorgeous Grand Auditorium-sized instrument from Taylor. This beauty was part of a very limited run done in the Spring of 2011. Specs include: a select grade Sitka Spruce top with 900-series abalone rosette; highly figured AA Grade Walnut for the back and sides; body dimensions of 16" wide at the lower bout, 4 5/8" deep and 20" in length; clean white ivoroid binding; a tropical Mahogany neck with a satin finish; an Ebony fretboard with 15" radius, 25.5" scale length and 900 series Pearl inlays; a 1.75" bone nut; an Ebony bridge with bone saddle; ES1 series electronics; and Gotoh 510 tuners. A clear Taylor peel-off guard has also been installed. This guitar has a voice that is huge, rich and clear, with lots of overtones and chime. As with virtually all Taylor guitars, this instrument is extremely easy to play with a great setup and a sleek, low profile neck carve. This lightly played, one-owner guitar is in amazing condition too, with virtually no significant flaws for me to report. The frets look like new as well. It comes in it's equally mint brown Taylor arch-top case and paperwork. This is one marvelous Taylor - make it yours!
