Summary: This limited edition guitar commemorates 30 years of Bob Taylor’s innovative guitar-building artistry. The always-popular combination of a Sitka spruce top and Big Leaf maple back and sides is elevated to a higher level with this outstanding model. Expressive revoicing creates a wide array of timbres with a large dynamic range and outstanding sustain, perfect for flatpicking, fingerstyle and assertive strumming.

Body: Grand Concert body shape. 15” body width. Big Leaf maple back and sides. Sitka spruce top. Scalloped X-bracing. Gloss finish. Ivoroid binding with abalone-edged top. Abalone rosette.

Neck: Tropical American mahogany. Ivoroid boung ebony fretboard with pearl and gold Anniversary inlay. Ebony headstock overlay. 24 7/8” scale length. 1 ¾” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Ebony bridge. Tusq nut and saddle. Waverly tuning machines. Expression pickup system.

Cosmetics: This is without a doubt one of the prettiest Taylor’s we’ve seen. The top is tightly grained, the maple back and sides are beautifully striped and the ornate pearl and gold inlays lend a sophisticated, almost Art Deco look. It is in overall great condition with a few small finish dings on the front of the guitar.

Playability: The Grand Concert body is well-proportioned and sits comfortably. The action is low, the frets are full, and playability is excellent up and down the neck. This guitar has the tight focused tone of a small body, with plenty of punch and projection, which the Expression pickup system conveys with high fidelity.
