You are looking at one of the most authentic looking Burst conversions on the net today. Here is the history of the guitar from start to finish. I bought the 1954 Goldtop that had a refin from Big Jim's guitars (I have the receipt and will include it) Neck steamed out, removed the original binding and shaved the top the thickness of the veneer, filled the P-90 routes & bridge inserts, vacuum applied the Eastern flame maple veneer & reinstalled the original binding & rerouted for humbuckers, reinstall the neck, drill & install tailpiece inserts & bridge screws, refinish the guitar and lightly age it for a true 50 year old vibe, assemble & set up guitar. The neck angle was not changed. There was no need to change the angle as the 1954 allowed for the ABR-1 bridge. The pickups are double black long magnet PAF's with aged RS covers. Here is a list of the other 50's parts that are on the guitar: Original brown 54' backplates, original pickguard cut by Dave for the PAF's. matched 1959 pots, bumble bee caps, 59' knobs, original switch & switch tip (I bought these from Jim Pash), Repro switch ring, original non-wire ABR-1 bridge with original saddles, early 60's tailpiece, 50's single line Klusons with Uncle Lou's tips, 59' truss rod cover, original 54 strap buttons. New Historic inlays installed by Dave. The inlays are the exact same material that Gibson used in the 50's. I have the original inlays and will include them. Inlays were replaced due to a couple of refrets. Guitar comes with a 50's 4 latch Lifton case. Will ship world wide, buyer pays shipping & insurance.
