If you are a fan of Fender Japan guitars you know how great their workmanship and attention to detail is. This 54 reissue is no exception. All the right stuff and a cool vibe. The body is more than likely alder. Made in Japan heel stamp. 25.5 inch scale maple neck with maple fingerboard and a cool vintage feel. A trio of single coil pickups dish out classic Strat tone. Six saddle vintage style trem and vintage style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Clapton style black and is set off by white plastic. A classic guitar!

Like most Fender Japan guitars, this one plays and sounds goos. Great feeling V neck with nice action. Nice tone with typical Fender sparkle. Condition wise, this example shows some wear and would be better suited for a player. GD-VG condition. The frets show some denting and wear but overall, it plays well in my opinion. If you’re fret picky, move on. Cool played in vibe with moderate pick, clearcoat, and belt scratches, as well as dents, chips and dings. Comes in a Fender hardshell case.

Japanese built Fenders have a great reputation and many fans. As Fender offers very few Japanese instruments in their line, the price has increased for used examples. This one is priced right and has a great vibe. BUY IT NOW and own a great guitar!
